My MX240 shows transmission offline and blows the fuse for the trans. But if its in park it don't blow and as soon as you lift the lever off park it blows. Tested with fluke meter and something is grounding out. Anyone have similar trouble?

Good suggestion. It'll be a nightmare finding it, but I'll have a look
Broken wire between the shifter and the back of the cab
Shmiffy, I need to clarify what you mean by "shifter". Are you talking about the forward/reverse park lever on the steering column, or the thumb operated gear selector on the engine rev controller. Australian and north American versions of the English language have some discrepancies!
Either way, can you tell me more about your experiences with this problem? My tractor isn't blowing fuses, and the transmission controller off line alarm is displayed immediately on startup. Without any other input from the operator. Thank in advance.

Forward reverse park lever. We ended up running a new wire. It didn’t blow a fuse. Was the same as unplugging the box on the back of the cab. Probably a spot under the cab that was rubbed
Thanks. If you can spare the time, where does the wire from the shifter plug into the controller? Can you remember which pins? Any further help would be greatly appreciated. It saves me time. I can only look at it on weekends, and I have to drive 6hrs to get to where it's parked.

On our tg new holland which is pretty similar the shifter is plugged in into the arm rest harness which comes out the back of the seat. I would look into any codes in the computer. The transmission can be offline for a lot of reasons if the tach isn’t reading if voltages aren’t right etc
