I don't know what you are trying to achieve, but field boundaries from JD are a PITA. They are required to use the autoturn function, or I wouldn't use them at all. The boundarys need to be driven, rather than loaded from a satellite image. If you try to plant outside the boundary, swath control shuts the seeding off and headland control leaves skips. If you don't plant close enough to the boundary, headland control overplants and autoturn wants to drive outside the boundary.
Then if you took out a tree or filled a ditch you used to drive around and you want to change the boundary to match you have to redrive it. I have some fields with a 2 mile boundary. That takes a long time at 5 mph.
But the 2630 allows you to name the farms and fields when you input the boundary.
I have talked at JD software people at farm shows, and I am of the firm conclusion they are some of the most arrogant people on the face of this earth. I have had them argue with me about how the system works and then had them tell me I wasn't using it right when I demonstrated the behavior they said wouldn't occur on their training system. But they wouldn't show me how to use it properly. I have had them tell me I shouldn't use the the interior boundary feature, but they wouldn't admit it didn't work properly. They are just part of a clown circus I paid a lot of money to attend.
