Just got a new to me N6. When I am at say half to full throttle and shut it down to idle to dump the motor dies. But if I do it slowly (pain in the B) it seems fine. The stops on the pump seem to be ok as well. Any thoughts?
Thanks
This sounds to me like sticking metering valve in Roosa Master pump which was used on '81 and prior machines. Fuel conditioner can help this situation. Otherwise someone familar with pump can replace valve while pump is on engine. This isn't guarentee that it will be fixed because the bore the valve sits in could be scored. In that case pump needs to go to pump station for repairs. Good luck
