I've never run an N6, but I've cut in lots of places I couldn't go any faster, but I seldom have never cut anywhere that I couldn't go slower. so as long as you are happy with the straw spread, I say go bigger with the header!
would it bee too much??? in short, yes. maybe 30 if there are no beaver huts, but 36...if you can do it without lots and lots of headaches i would like to see it
All depends on how heavy a crop and the job the swather operator makes.... If its a nice even swath I think the combine will handle it, If lumpy forget it. We use a 25 ft swather in heavy canola and I think its a better match for our N 6.
i have N6 , in nice canola crop like 40bu last year 2.5 mph tops some times less 30 bu canola that was short stand 4.3 mph so 36 ft swath no way you would plug the header . 25ft swather
If there is any crop there, no way! My r76 in heavy lodged canola can't hardly stand 25' swaths there is no way my old n series would have eaten 36' swaths.
