i have a 1680 axial flow with a specialty rotor?? is it worth it to replace for the afx rotor?? I harvest wheat oats, grass seed and ladino clover for seed??? i believe there is an afx nosecone upgrade or something has anyone done this???

Just bought one for my standard rotor (kile kit). Haven't put it on yet, but i hear really good things. Also you might consider the precision farm parts rotor mod. I think its around $3300 to have them modify your rotor. Talked to a guy in our area that had one done on a specialty rotor, then had the afx in his 2588 modified by them also. He liked it better in wheat and said it was totaly awsome in soys, especialy green stems.

Stewart steel makes a kit called the "Axceller Kit" which bolts on the front of our specialty rotor and turns it into an"AFX". We run both the Axceller and the true AFX side by side in our 2388's I can't tell a difference.
