I have a 8360 done only about 3800hrs. it has developed a rattly whine in c4, c5 & c6 over about 21 km/hr the dealer says not related to fwd, nothing in the rear end filters or bottom of rear axle. Has anyone had this,or any ideas before we remove cab and strip it right down
Thanks

Hey mate if you have a look in the tractor thread I have a bit on the 8360 we have. Your tractors a 18speed power shift? Before you pull the control valve out for the range change and you can see a lot of the sycros and shafts for the range part of the trans.
Dose it do it in all gear above 21 km? and on accsaliration, cursing and desalration?

The new holland web site has parts on there know to look at and get a fell for things.

Hey im new here but read about your problem. If you take off the front drive shaft cover, open back the front circlip and the centre bearing mount on the driveshaft. This will allow the shaft to drop down. Then remove the two couplings and pack them heavy grease. Grease the splines on the drop box and pinion shaft. Put the whole lot back together and things will be quiet. Best of luck
