Hi fella's,

I seem to be having a problem with my 4 wheel drive, front wheel seems to have a skip in it during the rotation. It rotates and then a quick slip and fine again. I started noticing this going up a small hill in low gear. The snow kicks up just a little on the skip. The tractor has about 4500 hours on it.

I was wondering if someone had any thoughts on this issue. Could it be a spline issue (slippage) or a gear, if a gear where is this most likely? It seems to more noticeable in the right front side but this is hard to tell with certainty.

Any ideas would be great.

Would drain front differential and planaterys see what oil looks like any chunks, could also jack front of tractor and see how much play, between front wheels, Scott.
