Finally got our new to us tractor today. It was a nice enough day to remove the wiring, GPS, and such from the old one and drop it off at the dealer.

It's a 2011 New Holland T9.560 with just under 700 hours on it. Has a new GPS antennae due to the old one failing right before I bought it. It's really clean aside from the right mirror being slightly melted from coming in contract with the exhaust. Only downside to this tractor is the 710x42 tires. Not sure how I feel about them yet, but I'm about 98% sure it will be no issue.

It's replacing a 2002 Buhler Versatile 2360 with 3000 hours.

Unfortunately, I did a lot of pointing at things that needed to be removed as I managed to rupture the extensor tendon of the distal interphalangeal joint of my right digitus medius. In other words, I broke the tendon that returns the tip of my middle finger to the straightened position. Somehow I managed to do that while snowboarding at Revelstoke, BC.

I threw in pictures of it, my finger, and what this new tractor is replacing.

Anyways, really excited to try this tractor in the spring!

We did the same thing last winter. Traded a Buhler 2335 on a new T9.560. Nice tractor compared to the Buhler but lots of grief with the emissions! Moodys spent the summer camped out in the yard erasing codes! I hope yours runs better than ours did. I sure miss my old girl, never gave a minutes trouble just pour diesel in and go!!

I'm a bit concerned about that. Hopefully after emissions warranty I can find one of the kits that remove the emissions.

What are guys putting on the T9.560's for weight? Mine has the front weight bracket with 800# and the rear weight bracket with 1000# and also 6000# of rear wheel weights. I have more suitcase weights and am wondering if there needs to be some more on the front, especially when doing fall tillage?

Primer I think you will like the tractor. I haven't had a ton of emissions problems with my red tractors so hopefully yours behaves as well. The Steiger tractors are pretty solid units and the blue color looks pretty good too. I am not just saying that because I have one just like yours on 800's....;):D

Yours is the exact one I was looking for, however I couldn't find it in my price range. I could only really find them for about 100k more than I paid for mine. Mine is lacking suitcase weights and the tow strap. Both things I would have liked to have.
