Hi there, iam looking for advice/suggestions on how best the work the soil on some land I just had cleared.

-It's grey wood lands soil
-The area is roughly 30 acres
- the bush was some willow,poplar,spruce
- I had it brushed and windowed a month ago.
- then I had it mulched & gone over with an iron wolf ( like a mulcher but slower head speed and it goes into the ground 10"
- I would like to seed it to canola this spring

Iam rlly happy with how it turned out, and there is deffinately not stumps and the soil it rlly worked up, but..

There is still lots of pieces of wood and roots less a foot all sitting on the top of the soil, wondering what others experiences have been and looking for suggestions, thank you.

Speaking from experience you are not too bad off. Roots are a problem if they're bigger than that but can be dealt with. If you have good moisture disk it a bit and broadcast everything and harrow. Heck you could broadcast first and disk and harrow after. You don't want to put an air drill into first year breaking.
