Here's a few pictures of this year's wheat harvest, which we started yesterday. This field yielded about 60 bu/ac. It would have done better, but had some rye grass that showed up late. Moisture was 12.2 to 13, test weight 59. Was going to upload more pics, but website had some problems or something. I'll try more later.
It's a 9600 with a 925F header. Here are a few more pics from yesterday. We've had pretty good harvest weather the last couple of days, and the forecast is good for a few days. I think a lot of wheat will be cut in our area in the next couple of weeks.
We've never had a newer/bigger truck, so I can't compare to one. But, the old Mack does a really good job of pulling the loads out of the field. It may not be as pretty as some, but we like it!
