Looking for advice and experience from anyone running offshore tractor tires. Seeing some decent prices on Marcher branded tires from China, anyone using those? I’m after some 800/70R38 for 4 wheel drive tractor.

i dont know about that specific brand, but i wouldnt mix and match on the same axle, one of the ways the chines tires are cheaper is they make them an inch or 2 shorter then the premium tires. seems like the chinese tires have mostly positive reviews from what ive read. i think i put a samson? on the back of my combine as that is what the tire store could have in by the next morning so we'll see how that goes. it was a bit over an inch shorter then the continental 600/65/r28 on the other side

Never used Marcher before but I've had ok performance out of Alliance. I've never been able to run offshore brands right down to the bottom of the lugs but I'm not sure the expensive tires will last that long either. Anyway deer horns don't care what brand is on the tire.

A few years ago my yard tractor blew a 10 ply 12.9x 28, local shop quoted me 1400 dollars for a 8 ply,,being a cheap sob drinking coffee in the morning remembered combine world advertising tires so I phoned, quoted me 449 for a 12 ply plus 75 shipping, then asked where to ship it, I said to the local tire shop.. Week later said shop called me snottily asking what to do with this tire, told them you have a truck, put the tire on the truck put it on the tractor and bill me. Think they still hate me and haven't lost any sleep or tire pressure in 10 years.

I put agristar a Chinese brand on a telehandler last winter. Fitted them myself and found them very tight to mount even when warm. Rubber is very stiff in the cold, more so than the ones they replaces. firestone were 1400 each and these were 425. Beware of the ply ratings thou. Load rating on the side means nothing in China
