It could be.

If the axle bearings are the first thing that starts making metal on the higher powered models, they should take those axle carriers with the track mounting forks back and use them on smaller units.

There’s no reason in the world why that part couldn’t be casted to hold larger bearings with a thickened inner race to fit up using the same drive axles.

Because then they couldn’t sell you over priced parts and keep the techs busy. Be interesting to see what the oem bearings are for quality. Might be worth checking a bearing house for a better bearing

Doesn't help that on wet years that area of the tractor basically runs submerged in mud.
