Has anyone ever used a paint restorer like "Color back" or "Dakota shine" and was it worth it and how long did it last? I looked a combine today that is shedded but still seems a bit faded and I like all my toys shiney.
get a buffer, a heavy duty one, that looks like a 7 inch angle grinder and some rubbing compound and the polishing compound, and it will look like new. then wax it. i know a guy that used the color back, and it did work, but you have to mask off all of the glass, and anything you don't want a film on, he told me it took two guys an entire day to do the combine. the buffing trick as i suggested, took me about 5 hours to do one combine if all you do is the sheet metal, auger, and cab.
