Pal hydraulics from Princess Auto, are their cylinders any good? We all know that Princess Auto sells some lower quality products, but I have been told their hydraulic cylinders are decent quality. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

I used larger ones on the main lift of my front end loader. seems to work fine. Have used lots of smaller ones never a problem that you wouldn't have with any other make.

I do believe that their Shurlift are still made in-house & their Powerfist are offshore.

I put one on a rock picker and it seemed to be working fine. Unfortunately I dropped a small boulder on it and destroyed it before I could see how long it would stand up under normal use. From what I saw, I'd take a chance on them.

I don't imagine warranty'll cover that...

I have them on my buck rake paking silage with the no promlams and they are working a lot on the buck rack

Have bought probably 20 or so of their cylinders. No complaints. Heck my BG 4710 came with them from the factory.

I hadn't bought any in a very long time. I found out a while ago now that they're all "Made In China" now.

My uncle does hydraulic cylinder and repair as most of his work in his machine shop, he recommends them. Uses lots of their shurlift seal kits as well. No complaints, and he's meticulous about quality, but also cost conscious for repairs.
