Hi guys.
Looking into setting up a wall on the farm shed to pallet racking. There are plenty of used racking on eBay but I don't where to even start. It will hold mainly parts but will take 1000lt shuttles including round up so it will weigh in at 1.6tn. Any thoughts to help me get my head around the right frames and widths would be great.
Thanks.

I have the old school style 8' I think, I can put 2 seed shutles side by side, works well for the round up totes, new ones have moved to 10' but I like the space savings of 8' and you can buy the 8' for a dime on the dollar of the 10'

Check out High Quality Pallet Racking, Longspan Shelving, Factory Shelving, Wire Shelving, Pallet Jacks at everyday prices for specifications of their products. I picked up a catalogue at the field days and thought they were reasonably priced.
Getting something to hold 2 shuttles might be harder, I cant find any in their catalogue that hold more than 2900kg/level.
You should be able to store 12 pallets for under $1000 looking at it quickly, just may not be the load rating you require.
I'm thinking of getting some sooon.
