Bought a 9600 with a full precision farm parts kit, problem with excessive straw on the sieve.Anyone know what the combine settings should be in wheat and canola.
Have a new to me 9600 with sunnybrook cylinder, having similar issues, hadnt used combined enough worked the problem out. Right now wheat straw definitely tough however I always thought straw on seive means over threshing issue.
Is your straw full piece or mulched. If mulched you are overthreshing. Start by slowing the cylinder down. Then opening the concave. If full size pieces you may have something plugging up you straw walker area, something wrong with your beater or just traveling too fast for your conditions.
It is almost full length straw,we bale our straw so im trying to save as much length as I can.Im suppose to pull all the wires from the sieve as recommended from PFP but have not done it as of yet.Moisture could be an issue as it is 17.5% and straw is sticky. Going to try again today.
