what type of corn head is that? would it help if he had a wedge kit in between the header and feederhouse. looks to be doing a very nice job all things considered.

We have the wedge kit in, the corn is a Dekalb variety, not sure which number it is though.

Not sure, I've been told that it doesn't matter what brand this year. There is down corn in all brands? Don't know, but it is what a few guys have told me.

What brand of head is it ?
Does that reel type attachment help much ?

Th head is a Agco hugger head, the reel is a must in those conditions, just gives the crop a little push into the auger to keep things moving!
