I am looking at a Precision pickup head at an up coming auction. Do they still make parts for these heads? I can not find a web site for this company.

How does a precision head work for picking up edible beans?

They were same as MacDon's ?
Did precision not have the rights to Philips rotary harrow and that was sold to a company in US?

They sold out to MacDon in 2007,so you can get parts from MacDon.Just had the conversation with a MacDon rep.

No, you are confusing things that have precision in the name.
MacDon bought Precision Manufacturing about 8 years ago.
Originally located just south of Rosetown ultimately moved to Saskatoon Saskatchewan.
Nothing to do with the other Precision.
Or...

Someone knows, reguardless MacDon only took on the pickup end of the business.

Precision Philips rotary harrows and Precision Pick-up headers came out of same shop in Saskatoon (Sutherland area)

Precision was the underlying company, Rake-up was a brand name.
Like General Motors has Buick. Sorta.

I do have one of these pickup headers with a Agco sticker on the shield .Very good header ,like the floating auger.Was thinking of buying another to put on a 8120,they are kind of a universal head that fits many brands of combine.Mine has several tapped holes in the back for different plate adaptors.I have a Swathmaster pickup on it.

You do canola with yours hyw 19? I have info to Ray on shocks and or you should check with me before harvest

I have done canola with it ,but now canola is a weed to get out of soybeans.Do only wheat ,barley and a little oats with it.I need to sell that 65 if you have a home for it.
