We cleared off a couple acres for a bin yard and have a couple piles of top soil to sell. One pile is nice no roots and just a few rocks, another pile has a fair bit of roots in it, and the other has been there for three years some rocks. It is a clay loam to silt loam nice and black. Any idea? It is a oil company wanting it. This is in nw sask (Neilburg area!) thanks

In Saskatoon, the going commercial rate is around $15/cubic yard delivered. Delivery costs running somewhere between $4-$6 a yard in the city making material cost roughly $8 yard.

This is for screened topsoil - no roots, rocks or clay.

I would agree that $3-$4 yard for unscreened material is pretty accurate.
