I have a 9760 and the pulley and clutch on the side of my Primary Gear case is not in line. I measured two neighbors combines, and I am over 1/2 inch off. This may not seem like much but it is throwing my reel pump belt out of line causing it to jump half way off of the idler and then cut it in two. Has anyone had this problem, or know a fix? We have ruined 4 $300 belts each time thinking we had fixed the problem.

Is the large nut tight? Have you recently tightened it? What I am getting at is if the nut becomes loose then the tapered hub of the electric clutch gets worn. If you tighten the nut with it worn it will be in too far causing the belt misalignment. You might need a new clutch hub which can be pressed out and in quickly. I guess my first question is which way is the belt out of alignment?
