little help needed! I have a 2001 2388 that has the small screen universal display. It has gone belly up on me. I have bought a pro 600, had a cable adapter made by ag express, and now ready to install. According to ag express this is all I need other than the right software installed. Just got off the phone with the dealer and he said I need all kinds of other items that will cost over $2000 to make it work. Who is right? Ag express or the dealer? Help please....

I changed mine, all you need is the cable.

yep, just the cable. A new mounting bracket is recommended, but not required.

Now I'm getting an error that says you not detected. All the wires look to be connected just fine. Not sure what to check next

Depending on the firmware you were running in your old black and white display, you may need a YMIU update. That's what it sounds like to me. YMIU 2.2 is the current/latest version.
