I have a 7010 with autosteer. I went to calibrate it and it says that the autosteer is turned off. I went through every possible screen and checked that all the info needed was entered correctly. GPS turned on, header info, field names, all entered. Yield monitor works fine. It will allow me to make a a-b line. But when I try to engage the autosteer it tells me the Auto steer is turned off. Supposedly when you hold the orange auto-steer button down for 4 seconds it is supposed to beep once to tell you that the system is on. If something isn't set up right it should come on and tell me what isn't right. I don't get anything. No errors. It just won't turn on. The switch on the right console has power, I checked that. Case said that we needed to update firmware. Did That, nothing. The dealer has two with autosteer on them, both with same symtoms. Ours was put on at dealer, the other factory installed. Same issue. Dealer is trying but no luck yet. Service rep for case hopefully will come soon. No one seems to have a answer. Just wonderinmg if anyone else has autosteer on new machine that works? Help!!!

Did your dealer give you the quick start lamenated guide that comes with autosteer? This tells you where to go, and what to turn on. Right now I can't remember exactly what has to be checked but there are several items that even when factory installed need to be changed. If you haven't already, go into toolbox, check through everything there. good luck.

When you try to engage it says that the autosteer is turned off. It tells you to turn it on, but it won't let me turn it on. When I hold down on the switch nothing happens. The book says to hold it down and it will beep when activated. I can't get that to happen. It should at least turn on. If one of the settings is wrong it would not let it engage, but I can't even get that far.

Ya that is what I meant. It says that the switch is off. I got it going though. Had to have dealer put newest version of autoguidance software 16.2 and also update the nav 2 controller software. It is working fine now. Thanks for the help.

Did you ever get your auto steer working? We have the same issue on a 8010 and the mechanic was in the phone with tech support for three hours and tech support thinks it may be a bad nav controller or a bad RH module. Just wondering what fixed yours as it may be the same problem.

Wow!! Apparently you have to press the upper part of the switch for 3-4 seconds and also turn the steering wheel until the dispaly beeps. The tech support guy never knew to press the upper not the lower part of the switch neither did any of the manuals mention it. Strange when looking in the pro 600 it does not graph a voltage for the upper part of the switch only the lower.
