have been told that the arms should be in center of stroke before locking bushings tight....would you please tell me how you do this....heard there was a tool to do it with...what does that cost? anybody just guess or use a measuring tape?

I think all you have to do is put the arms in the center of the oval hole they run in. I watched the mechanic do ours and he just eyeballed it so it must not have to be completely perfect.

Dont trust centering it in the oval hole. Roll the shoe over until the arms stop moving and mark their position in the oval hole, then roll the shoe untill it stops going the other direction, mark the oval hole and then roll the shoe until it is 1/2 way between the marks.
