I was just wondering if anyone knew about converting a
Flexicoil S65 sprayer with pto pump to an open center hydraulic system (International 4386) Thanks in advance for the replies.

I have done this before - on an older sprayer (not a flexicoil).

I bought a pump from hypro that can be used on both open and closed center hydraulics.

Bolt it on the frame - run your hoses - that's it that's all.

I had a Flexicoil 65XL sprayer that came with a PTO pump and I put a hydraulic pump on it as soon as I got it. When I sold it the guy wanted the PTO pump. I think the hyd pump is on a shelf in my shop if you are interested.

You will need to add flow control to 4386 and if you can mount it so as to be adjustable from inside cab - great! and make sure you use a circuit that does not have a check valve ass'y installed
