Grease or oil in the idler and roller bearings?
CNH say 80/140 for the idler & 30w engine oil in the rollers, plus additive...

Who's running grease and how do you keep tabs on bearing failures or when the are due to be changed?

I stuck a magnet to the large washer, can see it thru the clear caps and gives an indication of how much metal is in there, along with the colour of the oil.

Grease hasn't been used since the 9000 series Steigers believe there was mod years ago that converted them all to oil.

We use 85 140 or 80 90 in the small rollers seems to be better and in the large rollers the stuff case says

Don't know about grease but does it matter what oil you run? We've started running 80/90 in everything for simplicity sake. The worst type of oil we've used is no oil.
