I've been reading about your mods, do you take all the bars out way across or just on the seperator side? Do you run a forward bar at the discharge end on the blank row? I combine corn beans and some oats, do you have any problems with green stem beans?

take the rows out all the way across that don't have the reverse bars on, There should be 2 reverse bars on discharge side and 2 on the next row in from the discharge. No problems in green stem beans. If its a R42 or R52 also put a retarder bar in at the discharge.
