I have a R60 with a failed engine. It's been at the dealer since late June- areally bad deal. It seems to be scoring jugs, and they have finally given up. Hell, if I wanted to do it by guess and by golly I'd have done it myself! Anyway, does anyone know where I might find a non-turbo Deutz V-8? Conversely, if anyone has had a cab fire but the back end is still good, I'd sell mine or maybe buy yours. What say you? Thanks in advance! Tom

Used Deutz R60 engines
When we had problems with the two wheel gear box on our R72 Deutz engine we were looking for a replacement unit. Combineworld (dot com) had 2 R60 engines on December 16th, 2008 as well as a M11 out of an R72. I spoke with Julio there and he mentioned that these engines are not big sellers any more and have been sitting for a while.

i have seen a kit from those guys for n series thru r series. Heck! maybe they got a kit to repower SISU powered gleaners
