Hi, problem is I can;t see it at night. There is a dimmer switch which apparently does nothing. Would there be a bulb to change, or any other solution? Hate driving without the tach at night. mark
common problem, need to remove tach and send to electronics place, not fun trying to cut at night with no display, your local dealer can let you know closest place
Just my luck. After 15 years of no light on tach at night it has decided to work again this fall. Was very used to turning on the dome light when I wanted to see the tach or ground speed.
Only thing that I can think of is that we changed the cab solenoid and unpluged some wiring harnesses under there while doing so. Might be worth a try playing with the wires. Or maybe it is just a fluke.
We had a couple of the prior to sometime in '94 modules lose the backlight. Don't remember any of the newer ones that have hourmeters incorporated into module fail the backlight. We send them into Agri tronics for repairs. Good luck
