concave about 6 to 8, rotor spd 700, wind about 3 to 4, top chaffer 3/4" bottom sieve about 3/8". try it there. also put the returns back on the shoe instead of the concave. If it's slugging close the concave abit, or up rotor speed. This setup works good for me, I have been running sweeps the last couple years and get away with slower rotor speeds than this if the straw is real dry.

I have a R 72 and the settings in the book work pretty close for me, the only thing I changed a bit was the chaffer and sieve openings depending on how dry the crop is. Just remember to set your returns to the accelerator rolls for canola.
