I have been cracking the chaffer near the adjustment gauge, this is the third time. Both times I have had experienced machinists weld it back up with supports. Will run 300-500 acres and breaks again. Dealer said it was just because it was already broke it was weak? Also should I buy one of the Gateway Chaffers? They are about 60% more expensive than a stock one? Thoughts on breaking chaffer or Gateway Chaffer are appreciated.

If you have added gussets to it any they are still cracking Im gonna go out on a limb here and say its out of time.

Sounds odd but definetly check eccentric timing.Could have wollowed keyway or twisted shaft.
