Checking the combine over today I noticed oil leaking from the 90 degree gearboxes on my rake up pickup. I checked in the parts book but no seals or bearings listed for those little boxes. Called dealer and nothing available only a new gearbox. Which is on back order and close to 800$. Has anyone re sealed these units before. I’m hesitant to open them up and not be able to repair them. As it is I can add heavier oils until I’ve finished the season then overhaul them all. Any advice or leads on parts. Thanks.

I am pretty sure those gear boxes are suppose to have a semi fluid grease in them. I still have a liter of it sitting around. It is comparable to a liter of 85 -140 with a couple tubes of grease mixed in. It is something that you squeeze out of the jug rather than pour. You can get it through Rake up parts dealer.
