Have a 2011 - 1396 Rogator with Raven autoboom Gen1 system that I would like to update with a autoboom XT Gen11 kit for a RG 1300.

Raven has been unhelpful because they do not support this or have a kit yet for 1396.

But it seems with standard autoboom everything is the same (boom, node, valve) between sprayers except for connection to CAN.

My question is can I connect the Gen11 CAN-bus connection to my Gen 1 CAN-bus system, even if I have to make a adapter?

The Autoboom XT kit comes with harnesses between node and valve.

Also if anyone has experience with XT on your sprayer - I would like your comments.

The standard auto boom node is on can-bus system or should be, it should work fine. I have a clustered system with a viper 4 in place of a pro with the long box auto steer on a cereal port yet. Justin Hollrah at riggins r co got me the adapters and was pretty good at getting me set up. If I make it back to my sprayer and remember there is one guy at raven I found that was so knowledgable you would swear he designed all of it, I think his name was Jamie but I will have to check on that. But I know what you're talking about, some of there support ain't capable of wiping there own a$$ and dealer knowledge over all is piss poor at best witch is disappointing when raven must have at least one part on 85% of the spraying equipment out there

If you're just needing a connector get ahold of Justin, he was the only guy that could help me. His digits are 800-748-7890 ext 1014, oddly enough I originally found them on eBay, I had a ton of problems with horvic and such places, just seems like no one knows the product, I think if you wanted to buy a ground up can-bus system they wouldn't know where to start

Thanks SWFarmService, I have two more leads for information I will be trying first of next week and if I have no luck will give your man a call. If it will work, I have no problem making an adapter.

Would still welcome comments from those that might have some insight into what I am trying to do.

So, ordered the kit today as I am convinced I can make it work!! I have high expectations, so here is hoping!!

You will get it, I would be more worried about getting the system to find it the first time, seems to be my headace eveytime I mess with mine
