You should run your rotor to the slowest speed and then check the gap at the bottom of the driven sheaves. Make sure the drive sheaves are opening up to where they need to be. I leave about a 1/8 of inch gap on the threaded piece and the sprocket that the adj chain turns when I spread open the drive sheaves to get to the slowest speed. I hope this makes sense.
