Re: 1st axial flow combine tips

What size of a "green" machine were you running?

A 1420 is not real big but still is a fine combine. My experience has been with a 1480 but they are basicely the same design of machine. Don't have the info material that you request.....BUT...will tell you one of the most important things to keep your eye on are the rubber bushings (I think 8 on each side) that are in the shaker arms that move the seives. My experience is if one of these goes out and gets sloppy, it in turn starts to work on the seives and in a short time will destroy this high dollar item!

Good Luck
