After workin on machines since 1979 it seems there are variations in identical machines and the human factor that makes these equations non functional.

No mater what you put on paper or the computer programs.

Sometimes you get a machine and operator that just blows the next machine and operator away just plain old out performs for now perceivable reason.

each man for himself, in the past my 1660 would run all day long next to a tr 98 and my 2388s in the same field as a tr99 would walk all around them. I have run the 970 and currently own a 8010, I would have to say that they should be pretty evenly matched. I agree with the right operator and machine can make a big difference on performance and capacity. So one could argue all day long on how well their machine out did the others.
