We got a brand new 2588 this year and the field tracker/header height wouldn't work. Everyone was stumped as well. They finally replaced the dials and that fixed the problem, now it works good. They said they have had to replace them on a couple other new ones.
We have had a few other problems, nothing too major, but most have been fixed. One problem that hasn't been is the back window of the cab doesn't seal. It will if you push the back wall in. It is very loud, but we made a temporary fix. One mechanic said we may need a new cab, the case rep thinks the window is bowed.
