Re: 2577 Woes

We got a brand new 2588 this year and the field tracker/header height wouldn't work. Everyone was stumped as well. They finally replaced the dials and that fixed the problem, now it works good. They said they have had to replace them on a couple other new ones.

We have had a few other problems, nothing too major, but most have been fixed. One problem that hasn't been is the back window of the cab doesn't seal. It will if you push the back wall in. It is very loud, but we made a temporary fix. One mechanic said we may need a new cab, the case rep thinks the window is bowed.

Re: 2577 Woes

I not sure with the 2577's but we seen alot of chooper shafts break on the new 88's this year and there were screws in the cab interior that were to long giving alot of electric problems. May be this will help. Dealer said the choppers were because of spring tension.
