This is no comunication between the ECU and the tach. Check the connectors and clean them.

Locate the circuit breaker that power the e.c.u, rear wall of engine compartment, replace breaker, have had a few of these the last couple years , hope this will help , deerefever.
Re: 9510 error code e72

check the mounting bracket that holds the ecu or the breakers in the engine comp.it is bolted to the floor and uses that for a ground.had same problem on 9600,but its been few years, and i can't remember for sure which one
Re: 9510 error code e72

start signal wire circuit code #107 Tee's in at engine starter relay then goes through Connector C701 and then directly into ECU---------so if engine cranks then wire is good to starter relay----i would check C701 as that is a problem area and i have replaced many corroded pins here---and this is a 16-pin connector located under hydaulic reservoir-----make sure there is no voltage drop across engine compartment relays while there under load as i have seen these cause intermittent problems
Re: 9510 error code e72

did more research on error code E72 and this is not a start signal error[ E41 is]-but e72 means diagnostic codes output signal is stuck low which means there is a problem with communication between ecu and tach on wire cc132 through rh harness
