Re: Belarus Combines?

Quote: I had a friend ask me if I had ever heard of a Belarus combine. And I had not tell he had ask me. So dose anyone know who makes them, were do they build them, do they still make them and if so for how long have they,
and are they a good combine? Thanks for any help.

They are made by http://www.rostselmash.com/eng/products/who are the biggest manufacturer of combines in Russia. Belarus are a company who have an Agco type deal with Rostselmash to sell those combines. Russian harvesting manufacturing history goes back to the 1930's. There is an interesting thread about Belarus combines here: http://combineforums.proboards42.com/ind....73324942&page=1

Re: Belarus Combines?

Quote:Thats why they call it "Bella Rouse". By the way, the one I seen blow up was orange in color.

Belarus is the place in Russia that they are made (I think they went out on their own as a nation, when the old USSR broke up).

Cheers,

I would guess it was in the mid to late 90's. Useally go every year if farm work is caught up. Enjoy the corn harvest demo the most as I don't get to harvest any corn down here. Wished I was running one of them new machines!
