Re: CR9000 Elevation

Quote:New series from NH...can't wait for them to get to NA. Dealer told me 2009 model year but he also said 550hp and as you can see on NH site it says 530hp with the Iveco 13. Bigger rotors, redesigned cage, larger and redesigned cleaning area could make for a heck of a machineeGo to site, select the UK as country, go to products, then combines and click on the CR9000 Eleveation tab.

Thanks for site jester, it was interesting.
But I think I have some bad news for you. Upon reading the specifications (I'm sure glad I know metric) NH has pulled a fast one on you. The CR 9080 Elevation has the very same rotors your CR 970 now sounds like your CR 9070's have. The CR 9070 Elevation has the same smaller rotors as the CR 9060 in NA. Sly devils eh?
Sorry.

Re: CR9000 Elevation

Still, thats a pretty good power jump and a new motor for the biggest one if it makes it over here. At least they're not trying to put that kind of power into the smaller rotor machine (like everyone else).

Con grats on your purchase by the way. Wonder what they'll do with the spout?

True it's a 80 hp jump if you run the continuous 450 on CR9070 (or on the 8010 for that matter and I think we can all figure out now how much hp the 9010 will have). Clearly the hp war is not over, not that anyone thought it was!
BUT, for MY money none of these will match the 590R/600 Lexions for day in, night out overall capacity and oh what's Claas doing these days?
Gee we live in exciting times!
Sure wish P.A.M.I. was still in the evaluation bussiness.

Re: CR9000 Elevation

Quote:Don't worry, that cat spouts suck too. But you can't maneuver as well, so it takes even more time running grain on either side of the truck to get it right!

Agree, that is the solution.
Here is what I did with my Deere

That's just a section off a 13" auger spout, compact flow, straight down. Won the truckers award for best spout during The big 5 day.

Note the video camera on the auger as well as on middle of the back panel. As my dad would say this combine is "Cadillaced" By the way if that picture was 15 degrees to left and no bins in way, that would be the # 1 hill of Three Hills.
