Re: Flex Draper Questions?
We run 2 drapers on 8010s and I would never go with the 2020! The guys around here are trading them off and are going with the draper. If drapers is set right you will cut in water just by dialing it up. We generally cut at a angle because we are in 22" rows. And our heads are set right. I have not talked to any one that wishes they had a flex head back after the draper. We to cut beans and wheat with ours. They save more beans than the 1020s with the air reels that we had on the 88s did runing side by side. Had 1 draper for 3 years and the other for 2 now. I really like the looks of the new ones now, much easyer to put in the tow transport than the ones we have. Farmer Tony will may be see this post and ad comments of the draper. Like I told him before he owned his, Best Thing Since Sliced Bread.
