Re: How many combines.

If my memory serves me correctly, was not the US DE plant building 3500-3600 units ten years ago in the mid-90s? Does anyone know how many 9660 walkers are imported to the NA market from the European plant?
Re: How many combines.

They are maxxed out, i want to say i heard somewhere around the 30 mark a day.

They have cut the time it takes to make an sts in half with the remodeling of the factory, there was a big story about it in the local paper awhile back when they had the grand opening of the new vistors center.

I dont think they import any walkers from ZW, if they did i would imagine alot of guys out there would be wanting them...

You can still order a 9660 walker machine, and it will have to be imported from over seas.
Re: How many combines.

they sell, just not that many in the EU I could really care what they do. when I was at claas a few years back, it was their opinion.
Re: How many combines.

when i was at the factory a line worker told me that they built 5000 last year and are building 7500 this year. they were adding a third shift to get them all done.
Re: How many combines.

Back in December we heard that they were planning on building 6800 units this year, up from 4500 last year.
