Re: STX 275 and 1200 ASM

Those are awesome planters.....

We have one we pull with a Mx200

and we have loved the past 2 seasons of corn/bean planting

can't tell a difference in yield in our area from drilled and planted

but the planted do come up a lil faster seems like

Also how do you like the 275

we just got a 325 over the winter and im dyeing to put that on our Mcfarlane 40ft chopper harrow

im sure it will pull that thing apart

what year is that 275?

ours is a 04

Re: STX 275 and 1200 ASM

mx240 i don't think that a MX 200 can pull it. the higher up's were wondering if a guy could pull a 16-30' row with bulk fill in Thayer county NE. he has been getting along ok with it, but i think he could't do much more with our imperfence's of grades of land.

Re: STX 275 and 1200 ASM

I know a guy who uses a Deere 8400 to pull a 16/31 SP580 in corn but he switches to a 9520 Deere to pull it for beans.
Do you guys have trouble with loosing firming points?

Hey MX i saw your post so check it out

The mX 200 does a fine job with the planter..

Our ground is somewhat flat..but sometimes kinda hilly...
