Re: swathing barley
We use center delivery unless we double swath but it shouldnt matter to much. You might shatter a few more heads with the end delivery, running the crop all the way to one side. I like to swath barley when the heads are fairly well bent over and the swath is fluffy. It seems like the heads lock together which makes for a better job of picking up the swath without leaving to much under the swath.
