On a semi just like anything else.

Legally you need an oversize load permit in each state, and of course the oversize load signs and flags.

we receive 80 and 7010's with the wheels removed sitting on blocks that are about 1 1/2 feet high. that allows us to put tires on by just lifting the combine a little. other than that i don't know any other thing you could take off to lower it.
