We had to pull ours 3 yrs. ago. Its pretty straightforward start by draining antifreeze, then remove all the engine fan shrouding and the fan and maybe the alternator (we went back on with the steeper pitch custom harvester fan). Then take loose the hydro fluid tank, just the base bolts you don't need to take the hoses off, you'll need to move it just a little. Then go to the outside and take loose the bolts that surround the radiator. After that round up some muscles and wrestle it through between the hyd. tank and the engine and come out the engine compartment. It sounds like a horrible job but after you get dirty with it you'll see its not that bad. I'm sure I missed something but that's the jest of it. Good luck.

During fall harvest noticed the radiator developed a very small seep on the R62. Thought it would be a good opportunity to have the radiator cleaned and repaired. Dad and I are going to tackle removing that big radiator over the weekend. Anyone have hints or suggestions on what we need to look out for? At the surface it doesn't appear to be too bad of a job.

just finished pulling mine out of a 72 yesterday sounds like silver 62 has it covered but make sure you get a second pair of hands to get it out its not light!. You should be ok to leave the alternator on though. we left the bottom casing bolted down and had to lift it out the hardest part was getting it high enough to get the bottom hose out of the casing..... guessing the 62 radiator is the same as a 72?
Its a horrible job in the heat but in your part of the world cant be that bad, took us about a day to do the job!
