Laverda,at this time part of the Fiat company,which is now part owner of CNH,offered these interesting combines with 240 and 300 hp in europe from the mid 80s to mid 90s.In my opinion one of the best new concepts for combines i have ever seen.The rotor was hydr. driven,the grain tank was 250 bu!
They look like a gleaner with the rotor in front of the front axle.
The biggest problem was the chopper set up which blew the straw only to the left side.

Wow! Thats a gleaner transverse flow concept aint it. Looks like Hesston colors to me. Ideas good, but dont like the straw coming out the side. Think of how easy it would be to service the rotor.

Can you imagine what that would be like in dry soys with just a bit of wind! That sure is wild though. Interesting concept and would probably be great in corn.
