Pros and cons on full rotary thrashing systems, compared to walker systems and "semi" rotary (like JD CTS).
Thanks. Stian.

Goody first reply.
Good question Stan
Rotary- less grain damage, loss/high power requirements in tough, damp straw.
Walker- better in tough, damp straw lower power requirements/ grain damage, walker loss.
CTS, Lexion- good in tough, damp straw, low loss, better separating / slightly higher power requirements than walkers, grain damage mixed here, should be same as walker on CTS , maybe Lexion's APS reduces grain damage or is that sales spin?
Pretty generalized!

I've cut wheat (with a 2388) that tested around 21-22% moisture. It was wet enough that at the end of the day, there would be basket ball sized chunks in the hopper that wouldn't flow out.
