Hi.
I just bought an 1991 Axial Flow 1680 E with 20 foot 1030 Header.
It had a stone damidge and I decided to put a new rotor in it.
It has a front, wich in Denmark is called ``exeller-kit`` and is supposed to increase the capacity extentional.
Does anyone have any experience with that overthere or downunder ? I do barley, wheat and rape.
It will replace an old 1460 AF so I hope I will have a much better capacity and comfort.

I work for a case ih dealer in Ohio USA and we have installed a lot of them and everyone we put them in for just love them and say that it makes a new combine out of them. Hope you have good luck with yours!

in the US the ones I have installed are called an Axceller It is made by Maurer Manufacturing but it is the same idea of turning an older rotor into an AFX and performance is improved in tough conditions

on the 1680 (30' Macdon)last season and it made a big difference. More suction and fed a lot better. I don’t drive this one but the operator said it was a lot better and gained some ground speed. We also put this http://www.stewartsteel.com/ag/extender.html model EXT-CIH-FT3 on the 2188 which I operate

. It really helped for easier unloading with the 36’ Macdon header with out hitting the truck.
Which cleaning fan does your combine have? If it doesn’t have the newer squirrel cage fan I would recommend putting it on. There are a few more upgrades that we put on the 1680 also but can’t remember

all of them. Good luck with your 1680 being they are a good combine!

we had a 1680 with a standard rotor and gordon bars...worked great

If you are replacing the rotor I would install the AFX rotor it offers better suction and threads the crop in a little better than the Exceller.

Hi every one.
Thanks for your inputs. Cleaning fan is the standard one.
I am going to put a sideknive on the right side of the header in order to straight combine rape(canola) this season.We have usually a heavy irrigated crop with some green material in it, looking forward to putting it to work
