I have decided that I prefer frame mounted row cleaners because of the added stress row unit cleaners place on the parallel linkages, etc. AGCO makes a frame mounted (7 X 7 bar) coulter/ row cleaner combo but the problem is the cost..$9300 less freight for twelve. Seems out of line to me. Does any other company make a frame mounted row cleaner? Thank you.

One good thing about the row mounted ones is that they move with the row better, we have yetter cleaners on our CIH and we can set them to "float" type position so they don't dig into the ground going through ditches. If the frame mounted ones are on springs and hinge points you are adding quite a bit of weight to the planter
