Ruputured hydro steel line

The steel hydro line that goes to the ground drive hydro motor on a 1660 ruptured at the tube seam. ( Fast way to lose oil) The mig welder put it together again. Any idea as to the cause? The line is secure with brackets padded and tight.

sounds like vibrations not the problem if brackets are tight and cushioned. They do wear internally over time, especially on seams , welds and corners. System pressure also makes a difference. Just my .02 worth anyway.
